Shopping in the Belize Free Zone

The Commercial Free Zone is located about 7 miles (about 4.2 kilometers) south of Chetumal, in Belize, across the Rio Hondo River. Mexicans travel to the Zone regularly to buy goods and gasoline. There are also two hotels and cansinos there providing gambling, nice restaurants, and floor shows for their customers.
